    Module Goals: ● Recognize indicators of successful instructional planning practice ● Implement practices that focus instructional teaming discussions and actions on curricular alignment, student learning, and improved instructional practice ● Follow steps to ensure that instructional units and instructional delivery are aligned with standards-based curricular objectives ● Collect and examine student learning data to personalize instruction, achieve greater curricular alignment, and improve instructional strategies ● Plan units of instruction using a variety of instructional modes

    Module Goals:
    ● designing clear, well-organized, sequential, engaging, and flexible lessons that reflect
    best practices, align with standards and related content, are appropriate for diverse
    learners and encourage higher-order thinking, persistence, and achievement;
    ● formally and informally collecting, analyzing, and using student progress data to inform
    instruction and make needed lesson adjustments;
    ● ensuring high levels of learning, social-emotional development, and achievement for
    all students through knowledge of students, proven practices, and differentiated
    instruction;
    ● clearly and accurately communicating to support persistence, deeper learning, and
    effective effort;
    ● organizing a safe, accessible, and efficient classroom;
    ● establishing, communicating, and maintaining clear expectations for student behavior;
    ● leading a mutually respectful and collaborative class of actively engaged learners;
    ● meeting expectations for attendance, professional appearance, decorum, procedural,
    ethical, legal, and statutory responsibilities;

    • Identify the types and causes of misbehavior.
    • Apply the three-step response plan for misbehavior.
    • Identify certain disciplinary practices to avoid.
    • Follow the guidelines for the use of punishment when needed.
    • Identify types of chronic misbehaviors and how to address them.
    • Describe the characteristics, effects, and types of bullying and the ways to address bullying.
